First of many

After weeks and weeks of Laura saying that Harrison was teething - and Craig doubting her - Harrison had his first tooth pop out last week, and a second one broke through this weekend. If you look closely you can see it on this photo (you'll probably have to click on it to enlarge it). Getting a picture of the tooth was difficult, but we finally got a picture when Harrison threw a fit while burping.

Much like a million other things with Harrison, teething has been rather painless. It doesn't seem to bother him at all, but we're not expecting that to continue through the whole process.

Basically, we still have a happy kid, who sleeps a lot and cries very little. He's starting to pet Otis, which is cute, but Laura caught him putting his hand in Otis's mouth one day. Even with a mild mannered dog like Otis, that's likely not a good idea.

Harrison is also still growing like mad. At five months, Harrison is now in 12 month old clothes. All our 12 month pajamas were summer variety, so we had to go seek out winter pj's for Harrison. Thanks to a clearance rack, Harrison is rocking the Santa pj's in March, but who cares?

Harrison is in between Dr. appointments now, so we got curious and took out a tape measure to see how long he is. He measured at 28 inches, which means he's got about an inch of growth before we have to move him into a bigger car seat. Our Dr. told us most kids stay in their first car seat for a whole year. Obviously, this is not going to be the case with Harrison.

Most of our boys were out of the infant carriers before 6 months too... Sounds like he is doing well! It is good to be able to see the pictures and things! Thanks for keeping up!
